At the battle of Kuruksetra the military strength of the Kauravas was like an ocean in which there dwelled many invincible existences, and thus it was insurmountable. But because of Krishna's friendship, Arjuna, seated on the chariot, was able to cross over it. It would have been physically impossible for Arjuna to win the battle had the Lord not helped him by every kind of tactic.
