Please Note:
The arms are made from a separate piece of wood so there is a join between the arms and the main body of the deities. Sometimes due to the wood expanding or contracting because of temperature changes, etc, a small crack appears in the paint over this joint. This is very easy to repair with a little white paint over the crack. It is part of the worship of Lord Jagannatha to repair small things like this on the Jagannatha deities.

I have somehow always been partial to them perhaps because they have such warm loving expressions on their faces. I opted to purchase dresses with headgear also. The order process, payment process and delivery went off without a hitch. The deities were well packed and arrived without a scratch by Speed Post. They are much better looking than in the photos, well carved (obviously with a great deal of faith) from good quality wood. As a gift or for yourself, don`t hesitate. Invite the Lord of the Universe into your home. He is with you anyway even if some do not realize it. The only suggestion is that they provide a pamphlet with details of which color dress is meant for Jagganath, Subhadra and Baladeva, along with some basic ideas on Deity installation and Puja. Of course, this information can be obtained from the local KC temple and senior devotees. It would be nice to have a pamphlet. Jaya Jagganath! Jaya Subhadra!, Jaya Baladeva! Hari Hari Bol!Read less
