Lord Caitanya opened a nocturnal school of kirtana in the compound of Srivasa Pandita with His sincere followers, and there he sang, danced and expressed all sorts of religious feelings. The courtyard of Srivasa Pandita served as the birthplace of the sankirtana movement, and his altar was the site of the twenty-four-hour maha-prakasa pastime of Lord Caitanya, during which He manifested a display of transcendental opulence.
